Who is David?
I am David Witherspoon, the creator and founder of the Ultimate LEAN Academy —a proven framework/System to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver customer value while fostering profitability and solutions-oriented thinking.
With over 20 plus years of experience with Lean/Six Sigma, I also hold an Associate Degree in Computer Technology, a Bachelor’s in Organizational Management, and an MBA in Business Management. Professionally, I’ve excelled as Division OPEX Manager at Eaton, overseeing operational excellence for 200 offices and 20,000 employees, and as a Lean Manager for over 15 years, eliminating waste and optimizing processes in corporate and manufacturing environments.
The Ultimate LEAN Academy combines my expertise and passion for continuous improvement, offering impactful strategies to help businesses and clients achieve their goals efficiently.
I currently reside in Columbia, SC with my wife and two daughters. My favorite hobbies are playing golf and fantasy sports. I also host podcasts every Tuesday, where I primarily speak about health and wellbeing, also a Realtor at Talford Realty International and own an event venue, Silver Spoon Event Center in Sumter, SC.
